Call for Papers
The California Econometrics Conference (CEC) is an annual gathering of the econometrics community, bringing together researchers to share innovative work and foster scholarly collaboration.
Held each year since 2008, the conference has been hosted by leading academic institutions. This year, the CEC comes to the University of Arizona, continuing its tradition of fostering innovative research, scholarly exchange, and collaboration.
* The first two confrences in 2008 and 2009 were held as the All-UC Econometrics Conference.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday, along with a conference dinner on Saturday.
Conference sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, so attendees are encouraged to arrive by Friday evening, December 11. The conference will conclude around noon on Sunday, December 13.
A discounted room block has been reserved at the Graduate Hotel. To secure the conference rate of $179 per night plus tax, reservations must be made by Friday, November 13, 2026. After this date, any unreserved rooms will be released to the hotel, and room rates may increase.
The conference takes place in McClelland Hall (Eller College of Management), 1130 E. Helen St., Tucson, AZ 85721-0108 — about a 10-minute walk from The Graduate Hotel, 930 E. 2nd St., Tucson, AZ 85719.
From the hotel, walk east along E. 2nd St., which continues onto campus as James E. Rogers Way (E. 2nd St. itself jogs north at Park Ave. and runs parallel, just to the north). Most people cut diagonally across the grass, walk between Gila Hall and Maricopa Hall to E. 2nd St., and jog east to the foot of Olive Rd. — Maricopa Hall sits directly opposite it. Follow Olive Rd. north under Speedway Blvd. through the pedestrian underpass; it brings you to the 1st floor of McClelland Hall. The conference takes place one level up, on the 2nd floor. If you enter from the Helen St. side instead, you arrive directly on the 2nd floor.
If you drive, the Park Avenue Garage fills the block directly west of Olive Rd., across from McClelland Hall, and can be entered from Park Ave. or Helen St. Parking costs $2.50 per hour (daily maximum $10) from 5:00 a.m. to 4:59 p.m. and $1.50 per hour after 5:00 p.m.; payment is by card at the exit (cash is not accepted).
The 2026 conference is organized by Hidehiko Ichimura, James Powell, and Tiemen Woutersen, and hosted by the Department of Economics at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona.
